About Messiah Lutheran School

Our Mission

Messiah Lutheran School exists to assist parents in their God-given responsibility of raising and educating their children. We seek to provide a Christ-centered education that prepares students for lives of Christian service and faithfulness while equipping them with the knowledge and skills needed for future success.

Our School Family

Messiah Lutheran School serves approximately 30 students in preschool through grade 8. Our faculty includes three full-time teachers, supported by volunteer instructors, dedicated volunteers, and the full-time pastor of Messiah Lutheran Church.

The small size of our school creates opportunities for meaningful relationships. Teachers know each student personally, families become well acquainted with one another, and students develop friendships across grade levels.

Classroom Structure

Students learn in three classrooms that balance individualized instruction with opportunities to learn and grow alongside students of different ages. This approach allows teachers to meet students where they are academically while fostering a strong sense of community throughout the school.

Curriculum

Our curriculum provides a strong foundation in reading, language arts, mathematics, science, and social studies while integrating God’s Word throughout all instruction. Whether studying God’s creation in science, His providence in history, or the order and logic reflected in mathematics, students are continually directed to Christ and His saving work.

Student progress is measured through classroom assessments and standardized testing. Graduates leave Messiah prepared for success at the high school level and beyond.
